1,000 Chess Sets Arrive in Mali!

1,000 chess sets have safely arrived in Mali under the local leadership of Bintou Diallo. Over the coming weeks and months, Bintou will lead the distribution these sets across schools, prisons, orphanages, refugee communities and center creating a new generation of critical thinkers.

About Bintou:

My name is Bintou and I am a 21 years old Entrepreneur, and The Gift of Chess Ambassador to Mali.

I hold a bachelor's degree in economics and management from Burkina Faso, I am a young entrepreneur passionate about chess. At the age of 16, my father introduced me to this fascinating game which has since captured my mind and heart.

My journey led me to my first chess competition in Liberia, an enriching experience that further fueled my devotion to this game.

Currently, I thrive as an entrepreneur, focusing on the production of baobab oil and household soap. My ambition is to reconcile my passion for chess with my entrepreneurial commitment, thus contributing to the development of my beloved country, Mali.
