Over 3,000 Players Participate in The Gift of Chess Summer Charity Event Hosted by Agadmator.

On Saturday August 5th, over 3,000 join The Gift of Chess for our Summer Charity Chess Tournament (lichess.org) and Stream hosted by the World Famous Agadmator! The event welcomed guests across The Gift of Chess Global Team including the Youngest Grandmaster in Chess History, Abhumanyu Mishra and Award Winning film maker Howard Burton. We also heard from many of our Global Ambassadors about the great work they are doing in their respective countries.

The event raised money to further distribute chess sets across Africa. Currently we have 50,000 chess sets in Africa and are working to reach each country with 1,000 chess sets within the next 6 months.

We are asking for support of $5,000 to help us reach each additional country. This will help with the costs of shipping (They are warehoused in Ghana and Kenya) along with additional customs expenses and the costs of distribution once the sets arrive in each respective country.
