Team Kenya represents The Gift of Chess

Bernice Wambui, the current U8 Champion of Kenya (boys & girls), is using her platform to spread the Gift of Chess.

In addition to competing at the 2022 African Youth Championship held in Lusaka, Zambia….

Bernice is building (chess) bridges across the African continent….

This August in partnership w/ Chess in the Slums Africa & Tunde Onakoya we will bring an additional 5,000 chess sets to Africa, for distribution across Nigeria, Kenya & Uganda…

Bernice is building bridges with Botswana, Tanzania, Zambia, Ethiopia, Zimbabwe & Egypt…

With leaders such as Bernice, we hope to expand these bridges, making chess available to all children.

Chess is our universal language, expanding opportunities & creating greater human connectivity!
