The Dark Knight Chess Club - Lagos, Nigeria

The Dark Knight Chess Club is a chess coaching and mentoring program aimed at teaching students between the ages of 9 and 15 how to play chess. It was started in September 2021 with 10 students from the school and two chess sets.

Currently, we are at 22 students and thanks to The Gift of Chess and Tunde Onakoya and Chess in Slums. We have 10 more sets with the extra 2 we bought. The students are developing steadily but require more coaching to reach their full potential.

We haven't attended any competitions but our students are willing and ready!
